  1. where are they controlling the reactor from.i have seen live pictures from reactor #3 on NHK ENGLISH TV,but who is taking care of it when i see nobody.tokyo drinking water is contaminated by comsiderable amount of Iodine ,What about Caesium ,isnt that present in tokyo?

  2. At the moment, there is nothing to control.. The reactor is shut down, yes, with all rods inserted but since none of the systems for remote measuring and remote control of components has power there's nothing that can be done from the control room... and there has not been anyone doing anything in the control room since the loss of battery power within 24 hours after the tsunami. The cooling needs have been entirely improvised and mostly external since that time... I do not yet know if Cesium has been found in Tokyo yet, but it may be.
