External water supply fitted at No. 2 plant...

TEPCO is saying they've installed an improvised seawater cooling system to take heat from one of the emergency cooling systems at No. 2 plant for spent fuel pool cooling that uses new hoses and a truck.

Lights are on at more than one of the plants, inside. TEPCO seems hopeful that energizing of the control room will happen very soon.

  2. The story about the external water supply came over NHK and included footage from a TEPCO press briefing that wasn't broadcast.
